do not grow your palnts near conifers(sp) trees which leaves are pines
it a no no.

good tips especially about not telling your friends. the closer i get to growing the less i'm even talking about mj in general. i think this will be the only internet board i will stay on.

There's a guy on here who grew 40 plants in his parents house, and they never knew! or his parents are really dumb!

dont over pruuuuune!!!!

1. Do not have your lights on your seedings if they are in the middle of germination, they need dark, warmth, and moisture. Keeping the lights on a germinataing seedling can cause it to dry out before it breaks soil.

2. If you've completed a grow, do not try, and make your buds cure faster(Eg. Oven on low/microwave...lol, or a heater). Curing properly is very rewarding as you waited this long anyways, you might as well wait another week or so.

3. Make sure you measured your grow room/area before making a decision on any strain.

4. Make sure you burn you plants carcus' to eliminate any evidence., a shredding garbage disposal is useful too, the point is, is to make the carcus disappear. Disposing the carcus near your home, or in your area could make police/neighbors suspicous if they find it, and may have the area canded(monitered). Police may even take up the intiative to investigate further.

5. Never sell or do business from you grow"house" if applicable.

Don't buy CHEAP chinese ballast unless you want to burn your house down; digital ballast are the best way to go as they are much cooler, completely quiet, and much more energy efficient.

I don't agree with the not using light while germinating....

We have allways sprouted them in a dark paper-lined plate- then plant them..with the lights on immediately...the sun stays on when they grow in nature--so we do the same and never had a problem....
if they dry out-- the light is too close and you aren't keeping an eye on your grow!

Do NOT think that the plants "take care of themselves"...
you need to check them every day, both for temps, need of water/nutes. checking ph levels, looking for bugs/diseases...etc....

It's just NOT the "dump a seed in a pot of soil, add water and wait" kind of activity!!!
If you don't have the space, time, necessary basic essentials and the ability to grow--- don't bother!

I guess I should've been more specific, I meant to say not have your light on seedlings while germinating them say the wet paper towel method, its ok to have the light on once the seedling has been sowed. Sorry 'bout that.
