How about a different kind of comp Sir Skunk-a-lot? I liked the idea of the tutorial one, except most subjects are already covered extensivly with already good information.

How about for the next one you do an "introducing Mary Jane" kind of comp where people can post pics and give full specs of their grow setup. Kind of an introduction to their grow. They could talk about what kind of things they tried, where they are going with their ideas, anything they have noticed that was influencial in their quality etc. I think some good pics and a good write up no matter what week in flower/veg you are would make a good comp. Also if you dont win at leaste you have had the opertunity to get involved in the growing comunity

I like how you post in threads I've made at other forums and class
it as a link, no offence, but can't you be original and start your own
threads and stop claiming my threads as your own (so-to-speak)..?
I may aswell post over and over in one thread and class each post as a
link, it's similar to what your doing.

We're supposed to be spreading the word about PlanetSkunk,
not posting in each others threads, which does nothing to promote PS.
Promoting PS is what this comp's all about...

I was thinking instead of posting links that only point back to the main page of planetskunk wouldn't it be better to post to a bunch of different links to pages at planetskunk?, like your favourite strain in the shop, or favourite bud shot in the forums or favourite tutorial or even this page about free seeds?

I've just had a look at some of those links and I think herbalicous is right, you only need to have a link to any page on planetskunk, you don't really need to make a huge post about planetskunk on other websites or about how cheap our seeds are and all that jive, but I won't hold it against you if you do

We don't want to give out the impression that we are trying to hijack other websites members because that's not what we want and it's not what the free seed contest is about, we are only trying to build planetskunk's rankings in spam infested search engines like google.

All you need is a link in a signture or something like that, it's the link, not what's in your post that helps the most. Also they can be from any websites not just cannabis related sites.

Remember its a link contest not a spam contest.

Also some of those sites already link to us, and although I will be counting links from them in this contest we don't really need posts about planetskunk plastered all over their forums.

webistes like www.overgrow.com have been very good to us with their advertising deals when planetskunk was just starting out so we don't want to upset them by filling up their forums with irrelevant content about planetskunk.

www.ozstoners.com is another place that already has a link exchange program with us and we are currently negotiating an advertising campaign with them so we don't want to upset them either by having spammy posts plastered all over their forums.

www.treatingyourself.com and some of these other sites already exchange links with us and have been since day one so there is no need to make a huge post about planetskunk on these sites either.

I know I said links from any other websites will add to your chances of winning the free seeds and I should have been a little clearer about it but we don't want to upset the owners of other websites, particularly if they already exchange links with us anyway.

In next month's contest I may have to make a few changes.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate the effort you have been putting in to win the contest and build links to planetskunk. I'm not saying you are cheating and I didn't ask you to remove any links. All the working links that you have posted will be counted.
