hello,ive heard of this trick so i tried it and got fantastic results.first 10 days before harvest flush the plants that you want to harvest and then put them back in the flower room then at 5 days till harvest take them out and flush with cold water then put them in a dark closet and keep them at 50-60 deg, keep watering with cold water and in 5 days you have the dankest bud around.i tried this last time with all but one which i kept in the growroom after the initial flush, the tricombs just about exploded and the smell and taste were awesome,the one in the growroom could not compare ,id say it bumped up the resin about 30 percent.i hope someone tries it and gets back to me,i hope it helps.peace

hey, ive been watching this post for a while with no responses. im far from a expert, but from wat i do know it makes sense to me.
So there almost ready to but and the cold water would make the plants think fall is comming so they try to produce more tricombs to try to catch some pollen b4 the plant starts to die. like i said im not tottaly not sure of this but i guess thats how the plants react?

Hi Woods,do you have any pics to show of the comparison?

we always do a 4 day flush in either plain tap water OR tap water with Sucanat.... We used to use the flush in the dark-- but found no big difference... UNLESS they weren't already resinous.
In that case, something should be added (like Sucanat) to the flush AND during grow to up the resin production thru the whole bloom period.
