 milk in bong for years now people keep telling me to put milk in my bong because it will filter it better. i pretty much just didnt wanna put milk in my bong so i hadn't tried it until today. mainly due to bad weather and nothing better to do
anyway i tried it with a small amount of milk just in a normal straight up bong, BAD IDEA! this will just make alot of smoke bubbles which are quite funny. you can smoke it but its abit weird and i would not recommend it but you could clearly see the milk had filtered tar which is good.
so working from that i tried abit of milk(rather than hot water) in my ash catcher. This worked quite well not as much of a problem but if you put to much in the bubbles fill up the space and then go down the down tube and mix with the water.
this worked better at filtering out tar but i'm sticking with hot water n ice, milk just abit to rank for me.

What I've read around here somewhere, is that a few drops of milk in your bong water will keep your bong from building up as much tar, resulting in less cleaning.
Still though, ya won't catch me putting anything in my bong other than water.

No Milk .ice is great on a hot day as 2dogs said .I put my bong in my beer fridge durning the hot days of summer

hot water in the ash catcher ? ash catcher == the smaller of a double chamber yea? couldnt imagine putting hot water in my bong, double chambered or not. ive only been unlucky enough to forget to refill with cold water after rinsing with hot once and its not something i'd want to do again...

yeah hot water in the ash catcher is how it goes you wont notice it being hot coz you use ice and cold water as well but the hot water does get rid of some tar and adds water vapors to the smoke which cools it.

the water vapor doesn't turn back into water coz it doesn't cool down enough in the time to condense
