 Re: POPO
I couldn't find it, but I believe SS posted at one time that he clears ips every 24 hours. But, as FT pointed out, popo really doesn't need SS cooperation. Safety lies in that you are a SMALL PERSONAL grower-they're after commercial grows first (not that they would take a small grower if it fell in their laps, so excersize caution in all things).

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded. - Abraham Lincoln, Dec 18, 1840.

 Re: POPO
SS definitely did post that he clears the IP's with some degree of regularity. also, i think even accounts that are not active are deleted. i remember reading about that about a year ago or so. @mb there have been a ton of laws passed in the past 8 years or so that allow for decreasingly targeted interception of any electronic communication. as i said, phone companies were actually protected after they gave away their customers' information. the scary thing about that is that most, if not all, of those cases were NOT for any sort of criminal investigations. rather, they are just part and parcel of the domestic espionage game. don't forget that the first person arrested under the (at the time) new PATRIOT act was smuggling weed. i'll give you a minute to think about that. patriot act (designed to protect the US from terrorists). weed. terrorists. weed..... exactly. you'll notice a similar trend across the globe. and as borders blur and the corporation invades even the most remote places we will see this more and more. don't forget the social networking craze and the almost blind, willing elimination of privacy on top of all this. of course, they've been monitoring all of our phone calls and emails ever since, i'd say, the early 80's. it was still consider "illegal" at that time though. ps: i'm sober right now, so no, i am not just paranoid.

 Re: POPO
Ive often thought about how easy info is available on the net. Wasnt there a MJ site taken down not too long ago, some old school site? 2 guys from a site (MS to those who know) got 15 months each for posting tuts on how to chip cableboxes last year. So how come the OB (old bill) dont clamp down on all different kinds of forums?

 Re: POPO
No-- they can't... it is not illegal to go to Marijuana websites. They do have computers that pick-up "chatter" thru keywords that are linked to terrorism... but even that has been scaled way back.
They can not prove anything except a list of IP's IF they were able to hack-in... The IP's lead to servers...all over the world-- if you use a Proxy sever, you aren't traceable...very few IP's are for individual addresses.... in order to get exact addresses, they have to have a supeana for ALL the IP's at every service that supplies internet service,... which NO JUDGE is gonna risk the publicity if they were to go for it!
The only person who has all our IP's is Sir Skunk... and he is in Ireland, the server in Amsterdam... both where the USA can't do a goddam thing.
The OBAMA admin has already said they want the whole "DEA Drug War" thing to dial-back on pursuing individuals and focus on the Cartels, Imports, and Hard drugs.
Relax....
this issue comes up almost every couple months -- usually by a new member....
If circumstances were to change, believe me-- Sir Skunk would post a notice, or shut the site down.
